ALAMOGORDO ROADRUNNERS TRAVEL CLUB
Welcome members of the Alamogordo Roadrunners Travel Club. This is your place to find up to date information about what is happening such as events, bus tours, cruises, day trips, and last minute deals. The Alamogordo Roadrunners Travel Club is in conjunction with the Alamogordo Senior Center but is open to all seniors in the area, and there are no fees or dues to be a member.

Group will do at least two longer trips a year with options ranging from escorted bus tours from Alamogordo.
Option two will be different cruises ranging from 3 days to 7 days with visiting different distinations from the Caribbean to Alaska.
SHORT GETAWAYS
Shorter weekend getaways to day trips to local attractions will be offered throughout the year. These trips will be open to Alamogordo Senior Center members only.
MONTHLY MEETINGS AND TRAVEL EVENTS
The group will meet each month to plan, discuss, and enjoy each others company. Throughout the year look for special events with refreshments and infomation for different distinations. Guest speakers and more. Lots of fun for everyone.

Sit back and relax as our spacious motorcoach departs from Alamogordo. We'll enjoy great scenery along the way and then settle into your comfortable en route hotel for a good nights rest.
Day 2: Today arrive in beautiful San Antonio Texas. You have a relaxing dinner and check into our San Antonio area hotel for a 4 night stay.
Day 3: After enjoying a continental breakfast, our adventure begins with a Guided Tour of San Antonio. The tour includes visits to San Fernando Cathedral, the King William Historical District, the El Mercado, an area patterned after an authentic Mexican market. This afternoon we will visit the Institute of Texan Cultures. The Institute is devoted to the 26 different cultures that settled Texas. After dinner, we go to the famous River Walk for a scenic cruise.
Day 4: Enjoy a continental breakfast before departing for Fredericksburg, "Jewel of the Texas Hill Country." Start with a visit to the National Museum of the Pacific War, including the George Bush Gallery. Here visitors become quickly engaged in the personal stories of Americans from all branches of the military involved in the Pacific Theatre of World War II. Then depart for the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park where we will go on a tour of the LBJ Ranch, and see the "Texas White House." This evening, enjoy a lovely dinner complete with entertainment.
Day 5: Start the day with a continental breakfast. Afterwards, depart for a visit to the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. Experience the "Queen of the Missions" Mission San Jose, established in 1720. Later, go to the Imax Theatre at San Antionio Rivercenter to see "ALAMO The Price of Freedom". Then stand where history took place when you visit the buildings and grounds of The ALAMO. This evening, we will relax and enjoy dinner.
Day 6: Enjoy a continental breakfast at hotel before leaving for the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas. This evening relax at your en route hotel.
Day 7: Today after enjoying a continental breakfast, you will depart for home, a perfect time to chat with friends about all the fun things you've done and the great sights you have seen.

Our spacious motorcoach will leave Alamogordo and set off for the "Live Music Capital of the World" Branson Missouri. This evening, we will check into our en route hotel for a refreshing nights rest.
Day 2: After breakfast, we will visit the Oklahoma City Memorial where you will have a chance to pay your respects to those who lost their lives in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombings. Tonight, we will enjoy a relaxing dinner and check into our en route hotel for the night.
Day 3: We'll start our day with breakfast before departing for Branson. Later, we will enjoy dinner and check into our Branson area hotel for a 4 night stay. This eveing, get ready for the fun to begin because tonight we'll be seeing "THE JIM STAFFORD SHOW." A Branson favorite, this show delights groups with laughter, special effects, and music that you wont forget!
Day 4: After enjoying a Continental breakfast, we will be off to see the beloved film and television star Red Skelton lovingly re-created by Tom Mullica in the hilarious "RED SKELTON TRIBUTE SHOW." Revisit the timeless humor that made Red Skelton a legend. Next, we'll have free time at the all new $420 million project, Branson Landing. This 95 acre site on Lake Taneycomo is a magnificent shopping and entertainment complex. After dinner, "The DUTTONS SHOW" will wow you with the high energy musical talents that led them to an impressive top ten finish on TVs famous "America's Got Talent" reality show.
Day 5: We'll have a yummy continental breakfast this morning before we head out to see the all-singing, all-dancing "HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD SHOW!" This journey through the last 50 years of movie musicals comes to life on stage with some of the most famous musical numbers ever written. Next, we visit Historical Downtown Branson, with old fashion charm, novelty shops, and restaurants for some free time for shopping. Tonight after dinner, we will experience "THE ACROBATS OF CHINA." This is one of Branson's most unique and entertaining shows. With over 40 Acrobats, it features breathtaking feats of strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, and magic. This show is truely nonstop entertainment.
Day 6: Today after a continental breakfast, we will start our day with the incredible "BRETT FAMILY SHOW." We are in for a real treat when we meet this fabulous family with their distinctive blend of talents. Later, we sit down to a three course meal on board the famous SHOWBOAT BRANSON BELLE where we will be treated to a spectacular show as we cruise on the pristine waters of Table Rock Lake.
Day 7: After breakfast, we depart Branson and head for the Will Rogers Memorial Museum, which memorialized the great American humorist, actor, and writer who starred in over 70 movies in the 1920's and 30's. Tonight we'll have dinner then relax at our en route hotel.
Day 8: After breakfast, we will visit the National Cowboy & Western Museum in Oklahoma City. It's mission is to preserve and interpret the heritage of the American West for the enrichment of the public, which is evident in its many fascinating exhibits. Tonight relax in an en route hotel.
Day 9: Enjoy breakfast before we depart for home.

Spaceport America Preview Tours feature guided, exclusive access to the spaceport site and provide guest an up close and personal encounter only available during the pre-operational phase.
